Bedford County
Bedford County Sheriff
Operates within the county of Bedford in TN, and the city of Shelbyville, TN. They also provide service to surrounding areas, including Wartrace, Bell Buckle, and Normandy.
- Wartrace does have its own police officer, and they work in conjunction with BCSO. Wartrace Police does not operate 24/7. Wartrace officer only works in a peace officer capacity.
- BCSO also provides SRO (School Resource Officers) to all schools within Bedford County, including those within city limits.
- Divisions of BCSO also work as court officers and provide protection at the courts, and serve warrants throughout the county.
- BCSO has a team of detectives that work throughout the county, but not within the city limits
