Bedford County Sheriff

Operates within the county of Bedford in TN, and the city of Shelbyville, TN. They also provide service to surrounding areas, including Wartrace, Bell Buckle, and Normandy.

Wartrace does have its own police officer, and they work in conjunction with BCSO. Wartrace Police does not operate 24/7. Wartrace officer only works in a peace officer capacity.
BCSO also provides SRO (School Resource Officers) to all schools within Bedford County, including those within city limits.

Divisions of BCSO also work as court officers and provide protection at the courts, and serve warrants throughout the county.
BCSO has a team of detectives that work throughout the county, but not within the city limits

Currently, all radio traffic for patrol, warrants, SROs, and detectives operates on the main Sheriff dispatch channel.
Sheriff is also licensed for DMR on some frequencies. Also has these repeaters, not listed in the database:

Bedford County Fire

BCFD provides firefighting, rescue, and medical services; can provide mutual aid to surrounding departments such as Rutherford County, Coffee County, and Shelbyville City Fire

All fire operations, including talkaround, dispatch, and tone-outs operate on the main dispatch frequency

Bedford County EMS (BCEMS)

Staffed 24/7 and provides BLS service, ALS service, and hospital-to-hospital transfers. Provides service throughout Bedford County and the City of Shelbyville, TN. Provides coverage at large events such as shows at the arenas and school sporting events

All radio traffic is handled through the main dispatch channel
Supervisors respond to higher-level calls, such as large vehicle accidents, incidents that require LEO response, and incidents where Life Flight is requested.
